I've been traveling to the lake more often, lately
Just to see the birds skim the water for food
It's kind of hypnotic watching them circle the lake
Swoop down, pull out a fish, and eventually go back to circling again
I wonder if the fish know the birds are coming, and try to swim away
It wouldn't do them much good anyway
They're trapped in that lake
