akubi, an ode to sleep lyrics

[Interlude]
Akubi, an ode to sleep.
"Akubi" means "yawn" in Japanese, and my song "akubi" tackles sleeping and being tired.
This also isn't the first time I've used Japanese for a song title, I used it for my songs "miruku" and "mashumaro" before this.
I recently started high school and that has taken a toll on my sleep schedule, since I was homeschooled before my freshman year.
I would usually wake up at 7-8 am and relax until it was time to start school, but now I have to be awake at 6:15 and get ready.
I mostly stay up past when I'm supposed to be asleep and that, mixed with waking up at 6:15, has complеtely f*cked up my sleep schedulе.
Naturally, I'm always tired during school, yawning and almost falling asleep is fairly common, as I'm always exhausted.
Being exhausted means you pretty much want to do nothing.
This is why I named my album OVEREVERYTHING, because I'm quite literally over everything.
Hopefully, the album can communicate the feeling of being over everything to you once it's out.
Enjoy "akubi," and enjoy your sleep.
You won't always have this time to rest.
