I see pieces
There ain’t no peace for me

I see political prisoners
And refugees overseas plead for freedom
I’m seeing images of women being beaten
Oppressed nonetheless

Again, I see some lives changed forever
Their mind state is irate
I pray they get better
Cause I believe in peace for all people
Lethal but only toward the forces of evil
And I believe in freedom in every land
For every man
Freedom without a price tag
Murder in the name of God is not "peace"
And it never made sense to me
So please don’t look at me
To be the reason for your grief
And don’t disturb my inner peace
All I see is injustice
Everything I hear is false
They took all my spirit
Left me with nothing else
They’re the ones rolling in with all the tanks
All I do is clinch my fist
Tell me, how did I become
How am I the terrorist?
Who supplied the bullets to the troops
And gave weapons to the youth
From the pulpit tell us who's the culprit
Hide the truth hand us lies
While we fight for our lives
Make us rise and salute

I heard words can never hurt you
