Hunting Arrowheads (Live) lyrics

by

Joni Mitchell

I spend a lot of time hunting arrow heads and [?] with my brother-in-law and his little boy, who we call "Hawk Eye," because usually he finds most of them before we do and my excuse because he's finding them and I'm not is because he's closer to the ground. And it could be argued from my wife's perspective that when I'm going out and doing all this, and walking up and down the creeks drinking alcohol and really coming back empty handed, but I really am trying to bring back something to make some pretty jewelry out of, and I usually don't come back with anything. So I figured I'd right her this song as a consolation prize, it's called Rocks and Relics
